Talent and Essence Cheatsheet
Abyssal Commander Sivara
Tips
When you have the Frost debuff and have to keep moving, we recommend continuously jumping as far as your rotation allows it. This is more efficient than moving around.
Aspect of the Turtle can be used to solo-soak
Overflowing Venom /
Overflowing Chill, which
helps you with raid DPS as it means that only you have to place the pool it creates, letting
other ranged stand still.
For more information, please refer to our Abyssal Commander Sivara strategy guide.
Blackwater Behemoth
Tips
When crossing platforms, you can target the Pufferfish long before you reach it, and use a /petattack macro on it to send your pet to attack it. Your pet will often get there before you are in attack range, which is a significant help to your DPS.
Despite this, your pet will sometimes get stuck, and if you are having to wait on a platform anyway before you can continue, it is worth dismissing your pet, and resummoning it when you are closer to the next platform.
For more information, please refer to our Blackwater Behemoth strategy guide.
Radiance of Azshara
Tips
Like on the Blackwater Behemoth, you can send your pet to the Stormwraith beyond the traps before you are in range, allowing you to get a headstart on doing damage to it.
For more information, please refer to our Radiance of Azshara strategy guide.
Lady Ashvane
Tips
You can use Aspect of the Turtle in order to not get affected
by the Briny Bubbles. Simply cast it shortly before the debuff expires, while ensuring
that you are not close to anyone else. You can use
Born To Be Wild
to do this more often.
For more information, please refer to our Lady Ashvane strategy guide.
Orgozoa
Tips
With clever positioning of the boss, tanks, and the adds, you can cleave and
Stomp the adds while hitting the boss. To achieve this, the boss must
be completely stationary at all times. At the beginning of the pull,
the boss tank must rotate the boss so that your pet has its back
facing the adds. Then, the adds must be tanked somewhat close to the boss and pet.
The video below shows how it is done:
For more information, please refer to our Orgozoa strategy guide.
The Queen's Court
Tips
Aspect of the Turtle can be used to solo-soak the
Frenetic Charge,
which saves your raid a lot of DPS by not having a lot of ranged DPS move to your
location.
You can also use Feign Death to negate the charge. If you do it
successfully, there will be no damage, no knockback, and it will not leave a pool
behind. You have to Feign Death immediately when the boss targets
you with the Frenetic Charge, and remain Feigned until it is over. Do not touch
your mouse buttons while Feigned, as it is easy to break Feign on accident.
For more information, please refer to our The Queen's Court strategy guide.
Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha
Tips
Aspect of the Turtle can be used to reset stacks of
Hysteria,
which is particularly useful when you are about to enter Delirium.
In the Fear Phase, you can reset Hysteria by casting Turtle at ~11-12 seconds left on the debuff, and then cancelling it with 9 seconds left.
You effectively immune the debuff's refresh at the 10-second mark, and after this it will expire, resetting your stacks.
Duck and Cover can be used defensively before Manic Dread, and
to stay inside Delirium longer.
Use Spirit Mend aggressively inside Delirium to stay in there
for longer.
For more information, please refer to our Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha strategy guide.
Queen Azshara
Tips
Hunters can pick Focused Azerite Beam Major
and deal very good damage to the Devoted adds that spawn on both Heroic
and Mythic difficulty. This is only worth it if you are not
meeting the DPS check otherwise.
For more information, please refer to our Queen Azshara strategy guide.
