Magisters' Terrace Dungeon Guide: Location, Boss Strategies, and Trash

This guide will focus on an extensive overview of the dungeon, providing vital information to complete it across all difficulties (Normal, Heroic, and Mythic). We will cover all 4 boss fights supported by the most notable trash enemies in the dungeon and their important abilities. Right when you defeat the first handful of non-boss-enemies, down to the library, there is an Arcane Tome which upon interaction gives you Arcane Empowerment buff, increasing your haste by 5% for 30 min (persists through death as well).

• If your Healer hasn't dispelled your Ethereal Shackles, use your defensives. Note that any immunity or self-dispel (like Stoneform) helps.
• Be mindful of the Arcane Expulsion damage done, as well as the AoE knockback afterwards. This can be extremely dangerous if there is Arcane Residue left behind.
• During Refueling Protocol, do make sure to soak Energy Orbs so they don't get consumed by the boss (it will trigger Arcane Empowerment, dealing group-wide AoE damage). Be cautious about how many Energy Orbs you soak as they leave a stackable Unstable Energy debuff.
• During Refueling Protocol phase, the boss takes 20% increased damage, so use it to your advantage.

• Use your defensive cooldowns during Repulsing Slam ability.
• Move the boss away from any Arcane Residue so your melees can have better uptime.

• Dispel as many players as you can from Ethereal Shackles.
• Top up players before each Arcane Expulsion.

• Use your defensives during Runic Mark and get into the Suppression Zone to trigger Feedback and clear the debuff (dodge the incoming arcane barrages on the ground). Be mindful of the following Null Reaction stackable debuff, as that will make it much more difficult to dodge any ground ichors.
• Before Seranel Sunlash finishes its Wave of Silence cast, be sure to be under the Suppression Zone to avoid being silenced and taking unnecessary damage.

• If your party doesn't help you dispel the Hastening Ward from Seranel Sunlash, use your major defensive cooldowns.

• Spot-heal people that have Runic Mark debuff and use your externals where appropriate.

• At the start of the fight and at 50% of its HP, Gemellus, will cast Triplicate. All of its copies share health so the more you attack, the faster the boss will die.
• If you get Neural Link debuff, make sure to hug the right copy of the boss to remove its shield and clear the debuff.
• During Astral Grasp channel, use any movement-increase effects to avoid being hit by the Cosmic Radiation aura, which is within hit range of the boss.

• Try to get close to as many copies of Gemellus as you can to speed up the boss fight.

• Be mindful when Cosmic Sting happens as the follow-up effect of Void Secretions will hurt if people are slow to reposition.
• Spot-heal people that get inside the Cosmic Radiation, as not every class has the movement-speed increase to help overcome the Astral Grasp channel.

• Spread your team-mates through the entire room, each covering 1 of the "pizza-slices" around the boss, so you can bounce the Unstable Energy ball. Do keep in mind that if you miss, the whole party will get Void Destruction stackable debuff, more than 1 stack usually results in a wipe.
• Make sure to never touch the Void Torrent beams outlining the "pizza-slices".

• Be mindful not to "clip" your party during Hulking Fragment cast as it will likely one-shot them. Try to have good space management when you're trying to get rid of your Umbral Splinters debuff as it leaves Stygian Ichor and can be tough to walk through as a DPS.

• Use your major healing cooldowns during Devouring Entropy debuff, as this can be particularly difficult on any DPS players if they have to soak simultaneously Unstable Void Essence.

Mythic: Magisters' Terrace	Defeat Degentrius in Magister's Terrace on Mythic or Mythic Keystone difficulty.
Keystone Hero: Magisters' Terrace	Complete Magister's Terrace at Mythic Level 10 or higher, within the time limit. Reward: Teleport to Magister's Terrace.
