Level 15 Talents for Torghast as a Subtlety Rogue
|✘ Weaponmaster||✔ Premeditation||✘ Gloomblade|
Premeditation is the best choice of talent in this tier.
Weaponmaster is also fine, it is slightly better on single-target but weaker on AoE.
Level 25 Talents for Torghast as a Subtlety Rogue
|✘ Nightstalker||✘ Subterfuge||✔ Shadow Focus|
Shadow Focus is the default choice for all PvE content.
Level 30 Talents for Torghast as a Subtlety Rogue
|✘ Vigor||✔ Deeper Stratagem||✔ Marked for Death|
Marked for Death is slightly better than Deeper Stratagem because of how many resets you are able to get in Torghast, but it is quite a bit harder to play with which might make Deeper Stratagem a more desirable option especially if you are new to the spec.
Level 35 Talents for Torghast as a Subtlety Rogue
|✔ Soothing Darkness||✘ Cheat Death||✘ Elusiveness|
Level 40 Talents for Torghast as a Subtlety Rogue
|? Shot in the Dark||? Night Terrors||✔ Prey on the Weak|
Prey on the Weak is usually the best choice on this row due to the minor DPS gain from it.
Level 45 Talents for Torghast as a Subtlety Rogue
|✘ Dark Shadow||✘ Alacrity||✔ Enveloping Shadows|
Enveloping Shadows is the best choice for all PvE content.
Level 50 Talents for Torghast as a Subtlety Rogue
|✔ Master of Shadows||✔ Secret Technique||✘ Shuriken Tornado|
Pick either one of the recommended talents on this row depending on what you feel like you need.
Secret Technique offers more AoE which will make it easier for you if you are able to pull multiple mobs at a time.
Master of Shadows is the better single-target choice. It will make the last boss in each layer slightly easier, which is often the hard part of a Torghast run.

While the recommendations here are made only for Torghast, make sure to check the Covenant page for full details on everything this system has to offer.

This page will be updated later on the reflect the best choices when we have all soulbinds available to us:
|Venthyr||Nadjia the Mistblade||Nadjia Tree|

Anima Powers for Subtlety Rogue
Throughout Torghast, you will be met with a ton of different choices when it comes to Anima Powers. Choosing the right one can be difficult and should not be worried about too much as big part of the fun in Torghast is testing out the different Anima Powers and figuring out different combinations. If you are interested in seeing all of the Anima Powers available to Rogue, make sure to check out the pages linked below.
If you are interested in knowing some of the more powerful Anima Powers we have access to, we have listed couple of them below:
- Jack of All Trades
- Distracting Charges
- First Steps
- Secret Spices
- The Last Blade
- You can gain access to additional talents from Tier 1, 2 and 3. These are good most of the time and worth picking up.
- Terror-laden Slumbersand
- Hollow Bones, Spring-loaded Bone Pouch and Fractured Bone Shards are quite strong when combined together and allows you to kite and do damage from range if needed (Necrolord).
- Reverberating Strike (Kyrian).
- Poisoned Rush (Night Fae).
- Boiling Poison Sores and Backup Poison Injectors have good synergy with each other (Night Fae).
- Prolonged Pain (Venthyr)
- Spiked Lashes (Venthyr)
Occasionally you will be offered the ability to get Phantasma instead of an Anima Power, or increases to your Phantasma generation. It can be difficult to evaluate whether picking Phantasma is better than a power that you are not so sure about. As a rule of a thumb, any damage increase Anima Powers are often better than selecting Phantasma and utility Anima Powers worse. There are of course exceptions to this rule, as some utility ones can be strong.
