Mechanic Breakdown (Normal/Heroic)
1.1.
Phase 1 (Boss):
Void Convergence will spawn Concentrated Void orbs from two portals in
the room. If these orbs reach the boss it will buff the boss and cause a wipe. DPS
should swap to these ASAP.
Fractured Projection will spawn adds that need to be Crowd Controlled or
Interrupted. If their cast goes off a pool will spawn on the ground.
Shattering Twilight will create a Star Pattern around the Tank after a few seconds spikes will detonate across the room
in the directions of the lines from the star pattern. Aim this away from the raid by making sure the area around the boss is safe.
Despotic Command will put circles around several players. These players
will deal pulsing damage to anyone nearby and should run towards the edge of the room.
Once they are dispelled a pool will appear on the ground. This will also apply a healing absorb.
- Tank Mechanics:
Destabilizing Strikes is the tank swap of the fight. It is applied on
every auto attack. Swap at around 8 stacks or when the debuff falls off.- Kite the boss away from Concentrated Void orbs.
- If you are confident have the boss close to the Concentrated Void orbs and kite so DPS can cleave.
- When the boss is close to 100 Energy bring it to the edge of the room (with a bit of a gap from the edge).
1.2.
Intermission (100 Energy):
- The boss will stand still and cast
Entropic Unraveling for 20 seconds. - Beams will appear around the boss and rotate. If you touch a beam you will take a large amount of damage every second.
- While the boss is in this cast it will take increased damage.
- Note for DPS: Plan your DPS cooldowns accordingly as this does not line up with a standard cooldown pattern. You may need to hold your first or second use to have it available during this damage amp.
1.3.
Heroic Changes:
- Phase 1:
- Killing a Concentrated Void applies a 8 second DoT on the raid. This debuff can stack. You should aim to kill one ASAP and once the debuff runs out kill the other one.
- More players will receive
Shattering Twilight in addition to the tank. These players should run away from the raid and make sure their lines do not
overlap with the clump of players near the boss. The Tank will always explode first and then all other players targeted.

Mythic Changes and Tips
- Concentrated Void Orbs
- Once they have been killed, they will remain in the room.
- Standing under them will deal damage to you.
- When the next set of orbs are spawned the previously killed orbs will return with less HP and follow the boss.
- Tanks need to kite the boss so that all orbs die in the same area as each other so DPS can effectively cleave.
Fractured Projection adds:
- Only one can be interrupted at a time, but all need to be dealt with in the same time frame.
- Northern Sky Raid Tools has a feature to let you know what adds can be Interrupted or Crowd Controlled.
- A good rule to follow is to have areas of the room marked and players look there first if any adds have spawned.
- If your class has persistent crowd control, they should plant it down and look for another add to interrupt. Examples include
Ring of Frost and
Ring of Peace. - Below is an image I used for my guild and two players were assigned to each area.
