This is a pure single-target encounter.

7.2.

Tips

Mythic Difficulty: You will want to use Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows right after a tank switch, in order to only have the new debuff. If other melee also use their immunities, you can stack with one another, and make life easier for those melee who do not get to remove their previous stacking debuff.

You can easily soak Gloom Conflagration Icon Gloom Conflagration with Feint Icon Feint.

8.

The Forgotten Experiments

8.1.

Talents/Build

We recommend the cleave build for this boss.

8.2.

Tips

Use Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows for more DPS while Bellowing Roar Icon Bellowing Roar is active instead of having to run away from the boss. You can also use it to mitigate the damage during Violent Eruption Icon Violent Eruption or simply use Feint Icon Feint.

For more information, please refer to our Forgotten Experiments guide.

9.

Assault of the Zaqali

9.1.

Talents/Build

We recommend playing the cleave-heavy build on this encounter.

  • BQQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgQkEgDkkEJSSCkEJRikkkkECAAAAAAQ0CkUSCIRKBAAAA
9.2.

Tips

Almost all the magical damage on this encounter can be mitigated by both Feint Icon Feint and Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows, so use them freely. There is no major mechanic you want to save these abilities for.

Make sure to have at least some burst damage for the Magma Mystic's Molten Barrier Icon Molten Barrier.

For more information, please refer to our Assault of the Zaqali guide.

10.

Rashok, the Elder

10.1.

Talents/Build

This is a pure single-target encounter.

10.2.

Tips

Use Feint Icon Feint when soaking Charged Smash Icon Charged Smash.

Use Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows to cleanse the Overcharged Icon Overcharged DoT debuff.

Timing Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows can prevent the application of the Overcharged Icon Overcharged debuff entirely. You will need to use it less than a second before the debuff is applied, which also allows you to mitigate all damage from Charged Smash Icon Charged Smash.

For more information, please refer to our Rashok the Elder guide.

11.

The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn

11.1.

Talents/Build

If your raid consistently stacks the golems close to the boss, you should play the cleave build on this fight, else go for single-target.

11.2.

Tips

If your guild plans on simply crowd-controlling the Animate Golems, you can use Blind Icon Blind to do so. Remember that it has a higher cooldown than duration.

Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows is a very good defensive tool on this fight, and you can use it for either more uptime on mechanics such as Blast Wave Icon Blast Wave or defensively if you get caught by Tactical Destruction Icon Tactical Destruction or Dragonfire Traps Icon Dragonfire Traps.

Grappling Hook Icon Grappling Hook is useful to counteract the knockback from Blast Wave Icon Blast Wave.

12.

Magmorax

12.1.

Talents/Build

This is a pure single-target encounter.

12.2.

Tips

Use Grappling Hook Icon Grappling Hook to counteract the knockback from Overpowering Stomp Icon Overpowering Stomp.

Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows removes multiple debuffs on this fight such as Lava Ejection Icon Lava Ejection and Searing Heat Icon Searing Heat.

For more information, please refer to our Magmorax guide.

13.

Echo of Neltharion

13.1.

Talents/Build

We recommend playing the cleave build on this boss. Be careful with killing your own raid members with Blade Flurry.

13.2.

Tips

Feint Icon Feint is incredibly powerful on this encounter, as there are regular high-damage AoE hits like Echoing Fissure Icon Echoing Fissure or Umbral Annihilation Icon Umbral Annihilation.

Save your Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows for Phase 2 or Phase 3. You do not have to be inside a portal in Phase 3 during Ebon Destruction Icon Ebon Destruction with Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows active, and it also removes all stacks of Ebon Destruction Icon Ebon Destruction. You will be getting more adds, however.

Evasion Icon Evasion can be used to avoid the debuff from Shatter Icon Shatter. This can be very helpful in Phase 2 of the encounter. Make sure to face the boss when using Evasion, as he is the source of the DoT.

For more information, please refer to our Neltharion guide.

14.
