Outlaw Rogue DPS Vault of the Incarnates Raid Guide — Dragonflight 10.1

On this page, you will find Outlaw Rogue specific information to deal with each boss in the Vault of the Incarnates raid.

This page assumes that you already understand most of the mechanics of each encounter. These can be found on the full raid guide, so what is contained here are details specifically tailored toward Outlaw Rogue and how you can deal with each fight as best as possible.

The Rogue community has often worked together to compile information on which abilities can be mitigated or completely avoided through the use of Feint, Cloak of Shadows and Evasion. This compilation of information has been dubbed the "Book of Shadows", and includes information on most major dungeon and raid mechanics.

While not yet populated with any information, the community is planning on working together once more to help newcomers and experienced players alike. Anybody can do so by submitting information on these interactions through the form, and hopefully, together, we will be able to figure out how best to use our defensive toolkit in Vault of the Incarnates and Mythic+.

The build above is your generic cleave/AoE build, which will see good use on almost every encounter in this raid. Each boss below will note if it uses this build or a different one and if you should tweak anything. Running the same talent build for every single boss is not optimal.

You can use Cloak of Shadows to run through the fiery walls spawned by the Primal Flame.

Evasion works to avoid getting hit by the fixating Primal Flame adds.

As this is a pure single-target fight, we highly recommend switching to a ST build.

As this fight is a permanent 4-target cleave fight, with bosses having to die within a few seconds of each other, you should prioritize whichever target has the highest remaining HP as your priority target.

Cloak of Shadows should be used to remove the Conductive Mark and Primal Blizzard debuffs.

You can use Vanish to clear the stacks of Sticky Webbing.

You can use Grappling Hook to get back onto the platform if you get knocked or dragged off of it. This allows you to not care at all about the Sticky Webbing mechanic, and you can just full focus on DPSing the boss in all phases.

Cloak of Shadows can be used to avoid getting knocked back by the dying Volatile Infuser adds or to remove the Conductive Mark debuff. You can also use Grappling Hook to counter-act the knockback from the Volatile Infusers.

If there are overlapping Thunder Strike soaks, you can take both of these with Feint or Cloak of Shadows.

Cloak of Shadows can be used to reset the Diurna's Gaze debuff, or remove/prevent Frozen Shroud.

Grappling Hook can be used to quickly avoid taking damage from Tempest Wing.

While Cloak of Shadows is active, you are immune to both the damage and the knockback of all her abilities that knock you back.
