Remix: Legion Guide for Protection Warrior
Welcome to our Legion Remix Guide for Protection Warrior! Here we will cover everything you need to know about getting the most out of your Protection Warrior in the Patch 11.2.5 special feature, Legion: Remix.
This page is entirely dedicated to playing Protection Warrior in the new event. If you want to know more about Legion Remix in general, for example how it works and what rewards you can earn, you can check out our dedicated Legion Remix page!
Which Artifact Path to Pick as Protection Warrior?
In Legion Remix, you will invest your Infinite Power into one of five artifact
paths. Each path grants a special active ability plus a set of passives that
boost damage, healing, or survivability. Below are a few solid picks based on
your playstyle — though experimenting with themes, visuals, and builds is part
of the fun. Just choose what feels right for you!
For single-target: Fel is the tree to go with, just for the raw damage output. That said, using the Nature or Arcane tree provides a more balanced setup between the offensive and defensive capabilities.
For AoE: Storm should be the default pick just for the AoE output it provides. Arcane is also a fun choice with more skill expression involved.
The different paths also interact with eachother, for example Arcane and Storm gain damage by attacking enemies affected by Fel Touched from Fel. Such small interactions encourage players to check what their teammates are playing just to ensure that you get the maximum out of your whole party!
Holy is missing from the suggestions above. This tree is more oriented towards supporting your allies while also dishing out a bit of damage. Definitely still check it out, maybe this is the gameplay that you end up enjoying the most.

Best Legion Remix Leveling Build for Protection Warrior
Open World and Mythic+ Build
The below build should be used as a basis for Mythic+ and open world builds. It provides
a lot of AoE damage while not sacrificing too much defensive value for it.
Another fun combo of talents revolves around Execute, and this requires you to pick up
Red Right Hand and
Heavy Handed for AoE Executes!
Be sure to make use of the 'Export Talents' button to import the best build directly into your game!
Raid Build
This build is intended for Raids and generally focuses on mostly single-target damage.
