Restoration Druid Healing Guide — The War Within (11.1.5)

There are no changes to Restoration Druid in 11.1.5 patch.

There are a lot of class tree changes in this patch. While we will not be covering all of them here, we will provide the most important changes that will affect the way the spec is played.

• New talent Symbiotic Relationship: Place a buff on an ally. Your self-healing heals your bonded ally for 10% of the amount healed. Your healing to your bonded ally also heals you for 8% of the amount healed. Very good for self-sustain.
• Fluid Form now works with Skull Bash. Allows you to interrupt without using a GCD.
• Ursoc's Spirit provides 4% Stamina at all times and 5% additionally in Bear Form.
• Improved Rejuvenation renamed to Lingering Healing. Now also increases Regrowth duration on self by 3 seconds.
• Rejuvenation and Wild Growth healing increased by 5%. This is a net neutral change, because of losing this bonus in the class tree.
• Improved Nature's Cure is now learned at level 10. Saves one talent point.
• Mastery: Harmony slightly reworked. Base value increased, but reduces effectiveness with each additional HoT. It is a buff at 4 HoTs on the target and less, a nerf at 5 HoTs or more. Essentially makes Mastery a much better stat.
• Tranquility cast time reduced to 5 seconds (was 8 seconds). Healing unchanged.
• Flourish now provides an initial heal when cast. Not big, but noticable, especially in Mythic+.
• Nature's Swiftness now triples the healing of Regrowth instead of doubling it.
• A lot of talents in the class tree changed to focus on either spell damage or physical damage. You will have to choose one and mostly focus on that. Decent buff for damage in both types of content, while making it slightly easier to play.

These are straight up buffs for both survivability and healing output in raids and in Mythic+.

• Mark of the Wild now costs 1% base Mana (was 4%).
• New Talent: Twinleaf – Nature's Swiftness now has 2 charges.
• New Talent: Wildwood Roots – Abundance now also reduces the cast time of Regrowth by 5% per stack. Cenarion Ward's cooldown is reduced by 10 seconds and its duration is increased by 2 seconds.
• New Talent: Renewing Surge – The cooldown of Swiftmend is reduced by up to 40%, based on the current Health of the target. Cooldown is reduced more when cast on a lower health target.
• New Talent: Forest's Flow – Consuming Clearcasting now causes your Regrowth to also cast Nourish onto a nearby injured ally at 60% effectiveness, preferring those with your heal over time effects.
• Dream of Cenarius has been redesigned – Wrath and Shred transfer 50% of their damage and Starfire and Swipe transfer 33% of their damage into healing onto a nearby ally. This effect is increased by 200% while Heart of the Wild is active.
• Omen of Clarity is now a passive ability learned at level 12 (was a talent).
• Harmonious Blooming is now a 1-point talent.
• Reforestation now requires 4 casts of Swiftmend (was 3).
