Tips
- You can opt into using
Zephyr as a personal cooldown for the
Hellsteel Carnage casts at 80%, 60%, 40%. Otherwise, use
Obsidian Scales,
Renewing Blaze for these.
- Be ready to move away from
Hellbeam if it is cast in your direction.
- Have
Hover active for the
Wings of Extinction knockbacks to carry on casting.
- If you are targeted by
Rays of Anguish,
Hover to a
Dread Rifts to carry on DPSing whilst handling the mechanic correctly.
The Amalgamation Chamber
Talents/Build
For this, boss, I suggest you use the default build at the top of this page.
If your strategy does not stack the bosses together at any point, you will
want to swap a point away from Eternity Surge into
Honed Aggression.
Tips
- When you have high stacks of
Corrupting Shadow (Shadow: P1), Blazing Heat (Fire: P1), or
Shadowflame Contamination (P2) start to use defensives.
- Be ready to
Hover if you are targeted by
Umbral Detonation (Shadow: P1) or
Blistering Twilight (P2) to place the pools away from the raid.
- If you are on the Fire side in Phase 1, try not to stand in the middle of the
room as you may bait
Swirling Flame to the Shadow group.
For more information, please refer to our Amalgamation Chamber guide.
The Forgotten Experiments
Talents/Build
BsbBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAkAAAAAAApkWkIHQCCJJJtkENItQiEJhESSkIHQSSE
For Mythic, use the default build at the top of this page.
Tips
Cauterizing Flame can remove the
Rending Charge debuff.
- Use
Hover to escape the cone from
Massive Slam and the lines from
Deep Breath.
- As Phase 2 goes on, more and more Erratic Remnant adds will spawn. These
are a high priority add to kill. Be ready to swap to them instantly to make the
most of your Mastery. Later in the fight, when there are multiple up at a time
be ready to take advantage of
Deep Breath to finish them off.
- Use personals and
Zephyr for
Violent Eruption and
Disintegrate.
Assault of the Zaqali
Talents/Build
BsbBsJu/D+01p9npZvkV+nWIkDAAAAAAAAAAAJSCSaSIBEISiEJh0iWSSSISKJgEJtIJJJgAB
Tips
- Magma Mystics are the highest priority add to kill, and they have a gigantic
absorb shield. Take advantage of
Unravel here. These adds also have the benefit of being at near full health whilst their shield is active, making our Mastery is much more powerful. Hold damage for these if you know one is about to spawn.
- This fight has a lot of cleave but also a lot of priority damage. Decide on what your raid needs more to dictate the build you go for.
- Your raid may need you to swap sides during the fight to help break the
Magma Mystic Shields, if this is the case, you can alternate between using a
Gateway and
Deep Breath to move from side to side.
Rashok, the Elder
Talents/Build
BsbBsJu/D+01p9npZvkV+nWIkDAAAAAAAAAAAJSCSaSIBEISiEJh0iWkkEyBSKJgEJtIJJJgAB
Tips
- Be ready to soak
Doom Flames. Take advantage of
Hover to get ones that are a little out of reach for most players.
- Avoid the
Shadowlava Blast. This will happen after the third
Searing Slam of each Phase 1 cycle.
- There is a lot of periodic damage on this encounter, be sure to take advantage
of this by using
Verdant Embrace on yourself for more DPS.
- Use
Obsidian Scales when soaking
Charged Smash.
For more information, please refer to our Rashok, the Elder guide.
The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn
Talents/Build
BsbBsJu/D+01p9npZvkV+nWIkDAAAAAAAAAAAJSCSaSIBEISiEJh0iWSSSISKJgEJtIJJJgAB
Tips
Hover into melee range of the boss just before
Blast Wave is cast to ensure you do not get pushed out of range and can keep DPSing the whole time.
- If your strategy requires Golems to be CC'd when they spawn
Landslide is great for this.
- Golems are a priority when they are active. Swap to them early to take advantage of your Mastery.
- You can stop casts from Golems with
Quell,
Wing Buffet and
Tail Swipe.
Magmorax
Talents/Build
BsbBsJu/D+01p9npZvkV+nWIkDAAAAAAAAAAAJSCSaSIBEISiEJh0iWkkEyBSKJgEJtIJJJgAB
Tips
Hover to move out of
Blazing Breath.
Overpowering Stomp can be negated with Glide (hitting spacebar once you are in mid-air). If you have any Priests or Paladins, it can be worthwhile to
Rescue them.
- Use
Obsidian Scales or
Renewing Blaze when you need to do any soaking of
Magma Puddle's.
- There is near-constant ticking damage on this encounter, be sure to use
Verdant Embrace to gain a slight DPS benefit.
For more information, please refer to our Magmorax guide.
Echo of Neltharion
Talents/Build
BsbBsJu/D+01p9npZvkV+nWIkDAAAAAAAAAAAJSCSaSIBEISiEJh0iWSSSISKJgEJtIJJJgAB
Tips
- Phase 1 and 2: Move away with
Volcanic Heart.
- Phase 1 and 2: Move towards a wall to break it when you have
Rushing Darkness. It is important to note that if you jump and glide, it may not break the wall.
- Heroic. Phase 2:
Unravel will be a huge benefit on the adds if you are marked with
Corruption. Additionally, these adds are at 100% during this time, meaning you get full Mastery benefit from attacking them.
- Phase 2: Be ready to move to a new location when an add has died.
- Phase 3: Wait a couple of seconds before using
Deep Breath ont he adds as you may get threat and die if you use it too early!
- Phase 3: When
Ebon Destruction is cast run into a portal to survive.
Scalecommander Sarkareth
Talents/Build
BsbBsJu/D+01p9npZvkV+nWIkDAAAAAAAAAAAJSCSaSIBEISiEJh0iWSSSISKJgEJtIJJJgAB
Tips
- Phase 1: Use
Hover during forced movement from
Drifting Embers to avoid losing dps, have
Obsidian Scales up when you are soaking
Searing Breath or
Mass Disintegrate.
- Phase 2: Same as phase 1 for
Hover usage, defensives should be used for the later
Infinite Duress dispels as they are the only dangerous part of the phase. Your target priority in this phase will very commonly be the Mythic only add.
- Phase 3: This phase is exclusively single target, you will spend the vast majority of this phase
stacked as a raid group as positioning is key, the damage intake early in the phase is very minimal
so do not be afraid to hoard your defensives toward the end of the phase when you are resetting stacks of
Oblivion.
